Redesigning my personal site to v3 using NextJS

After 4 years of running my site on Jekyll with GitHub Pages, I decided it was time for a change. While Jekyll has served me well with its simplicity and cost, I’ve been itching to explore something more modern. Enter Next.js.

Next.js offered the perfect middle ground for this phase of my site’s journey. It provides server-side rendering, static site generation, and a thriving React ecosystem. This made it easy to build a more interactive site while still keeping things performant. But make no mistake — this is just a pit stop.

My next goal is to rebuild the site in Svelte!
